Shortly after I laid down, we were hit by a massive windstorm and hailstorm. The hail was pea-sized so I don’t think I have any roof or car damage. It sounded like the wind was throwing buckets of hail against the north side of my house. So much for that nap.

That also took out my Internet service (quelle surprise). CenturyLink reconfigured my modem over the telephone line, and noted the entire Panhandle was without Internet.
