That’s the problem with translations, as you point out, in Hebrew the commandment is Thou Shall not Murder. And all scriptural laws are interpreted by a large body of oral law. Yet the clueless quote the English translation of the Latin or Greek version, an utterly miss the “oral law” which has been in writing for 2,000 years. Sheesh.
