Hope, Change, and the Egg of Power

Totally OT:

Slipped out on the ice tonight in front of a local restaurant that hadn’t salted their walkway. Twisted both the knee and the ankle of my right leg, and hit my head going down on the granite ledge of their big picture window. I can already barely walk and I know it’s going to be worse in the morning. Aside from wondering if I should sue them, I’d like to know if anyone has experience with this kind of injury, and knows how to mitigate it and shorten the “downtime”. There’s no broken bones that I can feel, just hyperextension. If I went to the hospital they’d surely waste a lot of time and give me a Tylenol. Got those.

Anyone?
