Funny how different people look at things. To me they are tombstones, too. But I find it creepy. The person isn’t buried there. It always makes me…sad. I am a very empathetic person. I don’t want someone elses sadness.

Sometimes, I think there’s a bit more of a message in them, like when there are several at one particular wide spot in the road. Like it’s a “Watch what you’re doing here” sign or something (like maybe the DOT should do something about this shoulder). And I always look at it like there’s a story of someone there, who was loved by somebody. It’s in public, not shut off in a corner of a cemetery.

Interesting, and yes, sad, topic.
