It still makes me a little sad that Bun isn’t with the band any more (due to a combination of back troubles and a run-in he had with Zander). Neilsen’s son Daxx does a good job, but Bun had that swing…

The weird thing is he’s not in the band but he’s still part of the corporation, so he gets included in band decisions.

But it made me happy that he got to take part in their HOF induction.

The drummer for my old band used to play in one of the iterations of Badfinger when they warmed up for Cheap Trick a few years ago. It was a NY Eve gig, so they all hung out together in a room in the conference center hotel. He said that the Cheap Trick guys were all really sweet. Not sure if Bun was still with them then. Too bad about recriminations. Hope they’re past it.
