The only regular order McCain cares about is the orders he has received from his masters in the GOP donor class. He has been their loyal dog for so many years that disobedience is unthinkable.

Which is crazy. He’s busy dying of an inoperable GB, as bad as it gets. He has the chance to be the Maverick he has always claimed to be, without political cost.
