You know, I don’t think I’ve ever had that sweet potato pie before. I have had a funny relationship with sweet potatoes. When I was growing up, I hated them although I loved other potatoes but now I like them not just because of the sweet potato fries craze.

I hated sweet potatoes too, mostly because of all the added brown sugar and tiny marshmallows. But I love them now just as they are without all that crap added.
I’m the same way about cranberries. That canned cranberry sauce was totally icky, but homemade cranberry sauce is the best thing.
