Better is a relative term.

Besides, I wasn’t really thinking of them, I was thinking of finding some up-and-comer and spending a couple years building up his profile and national credibility. Obama went from the back bench to the top of the ticket pretty quickly, I imagine a man with Romney’s money and connections could help a similar process along for a conservative candidate. You know, if he was really more interested in having a good candidate than in running for the office himself.
