Yeah we’re all interconnected says the man who wants to gut social programs. Why is that raising taxes on the rich is “punishing the rich” but gutting social programs isn’t “punishing the poor.” Hell, I’d say gutting social programs is much more punishing since it effects people throughout class lines. Raising taxes on the rich is a small inconvenience especially the rates being proposed.

Yeah, that’s where things get weird and paleo-libertarian. Freedom includes the freedom to not make a living wage and not be able to afford anything.

So instead of Big Government being a part of your life, you’ll have to go hat in hand either to private institutions with wealth…corporations and churches…or to private individuals with wealth. So instead of Big Government you’ve got proxy government working through implicit social networks with no quality standards, no ethical standards, and little accountability.
