I read a long thread from Yang yesterday and I grudgingly support him in reaching out, but he has to use the opportunity (should it occur) to drive home some important points about “casual” racism (there’s no such thing as “casual”, of course).

Yang seems off to me. He has a tendency to embrace and reinforce the model minority myth….which is a tool used to pit minority groups against each other, all the while decrying identity politics.
