This is the sort of thing that D_F always liked to imagine involved making the ‘tough’ decisions - sacrificing people for the ‘greater good’. But this isn’t a roleplaying game, and it’s never been especially tough or difficult to not give a shit about people you don’t know dying, especially when you can justify it to yourself however thinly. The really tough decision in this case is to keep things locked down, even when people are angry and the most powerful people in the world are hell bent on discrediting you.

Like all Republicans, DF was an iron-man person of unflinching resolve and fortitude, as long as it was other people’s pain and suffering he was advocating for.
