I kind of doubt it’s a serious story. They have some quotes but I haven’t seen the context yet. There’s also a huge qualifier. Amnesty may be considered >if we can prove the Chinese and Russians don’t already have the docs. They almost certainly already have them and proving a negative (that they don’t have them) is a very difficult task. I’m not surprised that any idea, including amnesty, is kicking around the NSA and White House but I don’t think it’s a serious consideration. It looks like sensationalism for the sake of creating internet buzz on the party of CBS, probably not much more.
