Also, even though the part-time workers only get 20 hrs/wk, they have to make themselves available for scheduling changes at a moment’s notice, 24/7, so don’t even think of taking a second JRRB or going to school to better yourself.

Clearly people who have never worked two part-time jobs while supporting a family or paying for their education. Having a job does not always mean you can afford a house, a car and food, too.
