I’m just guessing here, but I would bet you have zero experience with the criminal justice system. Racism in that system is rampant. It’s not so obvious as “lock that n***** up”, but it’s there, pervasive, and real.

When any underclass in society has 40%+ unemployment, would you find it surprising if members of that group committed more property crimes than the general population?
