The exact choice likely will not matter to me.

What I don’t like, though, is the the selectee will be seen as a token pick.

That’s what is troubling me about this whole process.

And? He’s narrowed his list down to just women. He’s chosen not to be part of the 50-some campaigns that exclusively chose white men.

Any choice he would have made would have been seen as pandering to some group.
