You know, if there’s one good thing about all this (stay with me now), it’s that Barry’s election has highlighted the persistently entrepreneurial spirit of the American kitsch manufacturer. Every retail outlet I’ve been to in the last couple of months has had all kinds of Barry-related paraphernalia, ranging from mugs to calendars to “This is Our Moment” DVD’s (whatever THAT’S all about). He can do his best to destroy capitalism, but it just seems inherent to the human condition to make a buck off of each other. Vive la Hayek!

The ones that really caught my attention are the Obama Presidential Coins, where they took a real presidential coin and painting his mug on it.

And the “Yes, We Can!” collector plates. ;)
