Texas is a deeply red state, and there aren’t any compelling opposition candidates. The Dems are a half-step above useless around here.

Until that changes or Perry retires, he’s going to keep getting elected.

Well Austin seems to be an island of sanity in that sea of Red thinking (or lack thereof) within Texas.
