No, it makes it very easy to define a racist; a racist is someone who thinks race exists. A worse racist is one who thinks that race exists and is important to talk about a lot.

So I’m not a racist if I don’t think race exists? What if I’m not sure that it exists and I also don’t care if it exists? Close enough?

Then does it matter if I “think it is important to talk about it a lot?” What if it’s in response to someone else who started talking about racism and the only reason you brought it up was to understand what racism is in terms of race?
