re: #44 Tiny alien kittens are watching you

I didn’t realize that Kentucky had over-ridden the veto on the Religious Freedom Restoration Act until I just saw Tony Perkins e-mail crowing over it at Joe My God. Great, another unenforceable and unconstitutional law that allows discrimination and bigotry as long as someone claims to hold a religious belief that requires it. Of course this directly conflicts with many Federal statutes so odds are it will be headed to the courts pretty soon, which is why the governor vetoed it in the first place.

More pandering to the Christian conservatives, “See? See what we did for you? Of course it will be struck down in Federal Court later but remember I’m the one who did this for you when the next election comes. You can’t blame me for it being struck down, that was all the evil Federal governments doing!”

What is sickening is that this even works, the beneficiaries of this pandering are just too stupid to see it for what it is and realize that they are being taken for a ride. Arrrggh!

Oh man.

Now I have to weigh in on whether to convert to the Native American Church (peyote), Rastafarianism (weed), or Los Reis Vegetal (ayahuasca).

Because my strong religious feelings are going to make for some wild-ass weekends.
