Speaking of utter dumbasses, I’ve had a couple wingnuts point me towards the talk about Western state reps and their federal lapdogs talking openly about “taking back” federal land. I don’t know how they intend to do that, as there’s no chance they’ll ever find the votes for it in Congress to override a presidential veto, the States cannot legally seize federal land, and the courts would never be able to rule that states can lay claim to federal land.
