I tried reading one of Brat’s monographs. I noted several logical errors and overall pomposity in his writing. Mostly, argument by assertion.

This sums up really well his argument in committee as well. It’s as if his shiny class ring, suit and tie, and slicked-back hair are in themselves citation enough.
