Direct talks? There was a reason that the US didn’t do direct talks - namely that our allies and regional partners, as well as China and Russia wanted to have a say, since they’re all in the firing line.

The Six Party Talks occurred for a reason, and direct talks cut out South Korea, Japan, China, and Russia from the equation, and there’s no reason to do so.

It’s clear Trump doesn’t understand the geopolitics (again).
