Late to the game here but Maddow also loved her some Pat Buchanan (called him Uncle Pat). Mind you, she doesn’t support their beliefs but she is, apparently (and weirdly to me), able to discuss issues with them without killing them.

Maddow doesn’t have that many blind spots, but man, this one’s a doozy. Certainly puts her tongue baths of Nicole Wallace and Chuck Todd in a less odious light.
