I’m not sure much would be different if Trump was president in 2001.

Different contractors would have gotten plush jobs rebuilding Iraq and that’s about it. The decision to do war crimes would be slightly less sub rosa.

He’s not the devil of the 21st century, he’s just the same material reformatted from opera to burlesque.

Would Trump have attacked Iraq? I’m not sure how the whole situation in the Middle East would have played out, but an Iraq war seems unlikely, unless Cheney was his running mate, and that doesn’t seem plausible.
