Well, the Tea Party movement doesn’t rally speak to minorities, in my view. That’s why they don’t have diversity. There’s a reason why the leaders of their party are primarily old white guys and I’d say that speaks to Republicans in general.

But more power to them.

George Bush, btw, had one of the most diverse cabinets in history.

He did! He collected all of the smartest, most intellectual minority R’s that he could to be in his original cabinet. Powell lasted until just after the difficulties began in Iraq. His second wife (self claimed) hung in there a lot longer. I assume they had something special, in an ethereal sense, between them.
