Well, you just mentioned the biggest reason I would think of shelling out for a Ipad. There are so many musical instrument apps available that turns it into everything from a Hammond organ, Moog synth, guitar and so on, you can have a whole collection of some of the best instruments in the world, all on something the size of a large magazine.

I have about 6 music apps on my Touch, and they are amazing played through a small practice amp… of course, fingering on the small screen is tedious, that’s where the Ipad comes in…

Much easier to play on.

I’m libel to spring for the Ipad if I come across any expendable funds in the near future. Blew my last load on the vacation to Paris.

With the new iPad 2 coming out, the original will become cheap.

Travelling is something my wife and I whine about not doing all the time. If we set monetary priorities we could do it, but for some reason we don’t.
