Depends on how you interpret those numbers. The Feds allowed the banks to create the financial crisis. Today, nobody has been held accountable. Nothing has been done to prevent them from doing this again. Our deficits are skyrocketing yet the Feds keep tax breaks for the richest citizens and handouts to oil companies. Not everyone pissed at the feds is a libertarian fundamentalist.

Exactly. It’s not at all unusual for people to despise the person/thing that allowed abuse to happen more than the abuser itself.
