Both term limits and non-term-limits have their flaws. Term limits means that people won’t give too much of a fuck about pissing off their constituents, and will move more easily into lobbyist positions afterwards. Non-term-limits mean assholes stay in forever because of entrenchment and accruing favors and all sorts of incumbent advantage.

I seriously think that every rep and senator should be assigned someone whose only job is to point out where they fuck up the actual job, not the politics, but the job. And to point out gross ethics violations.
