It’s cheaper to build them overseas since they don’t have to deal with the UAW. And strangely, GM may be forced to sell its Opel division to Fiat/Chrysler. Again, that makes little sense for GM given that it is one of their better divisions.

The stupidity surrounding the Administration’s choices on the auto industry are astounding since they’re picking winners and losers solely on what they can bring to Obama politically - not whether it’s the right thing to do or not.

Socialism! It is the same everywhere. This will ruin the US economy (that, and by removing the rule of law, allowing the government to change the rules any time, they’re chasing away investment money.)
