The protesters need to clear out, and quick. It’s very unwise to be doing something that annoys police officers when a cop has been shot. Any cops will be angry in a situation like that and angry people sometimes lash out.

I sure hope I never get pulled over right after there’s an officer-involved shooting then. Or anything like that.

Either we trust them to be capable of doing their jobs separate from emotion or we don’t. When they are responsible for public safety and administration of law, we should be able to hold them to a higher standard when on the job.
