So, if I understand correctly, the American populace wants to build a wall, mine coal and do factory work, while not educating their children or doing research. Apparently we want to slip into insignificance while China takes our place as the premier world power. Make America Great Again? I think not.

China also recognizes Climate Change as reality and has a top-down approach towards preparing for the future with continuous massive national investments in Wind, Solar, Fusion and hydro energy capabilities. It is painful to admit that authoritarian leadership is superior when it comes to preparing a society and a nation for the future. I wish the American public would wake up, catch up, and demand similar actions from our own (for now) democratic government before it really is too late.
