Sharia Law must never be afforded legitimacy in the domestic legal system…neither in the civil law nor in the criminal law. To do so would be to elevate religious law to a status which is repugnant to the separation of Church and State.
This is what fundamentalist Muslims are already striving for in Britain, in France, in Canada and in other Western countries.
Is the US immune from this onslaught?

We have Division of Church and state written into our constitution do those other countries?

Also the crazy Muslims who want to base our laws off their holy book would first need to deal with the much larger group of crazy Christians already here who want to base our laws off of their holy book!
