I talk to my Uber drivers tho. Most are doing it to supplement income or if they’re like my Dad, retired.

We do not use such services (they aren’t available here anyway). In the rare case we need to hire a car (such as when we were in Denver for the Shelly Segal concert last month), we use a real taxicab service.

Went to the front desk, asked them to call us a cab, that was that. When we returned we called the same taxicab company, and by some sort of luck had the same driver. Taxicab drivers are (usually) better treated by their employer, are properly insured in the event that is needed, &c.
