It’s a shame, really. She’s a beautiful ship and could serve the Philly area as something like the RMS Queen Mary in Long Beach. Have the ship permanently moored and then she could be a tourist attraction with restaurants, a museum and a hotel.
Agree. I forget the reason why it wound up there, but I think a private company owns it, and not the city.
I’m genuinely shocked this thing is still floating. Particularly when you view it from street level. I imagine it would take tens of millions of dollars to restore.
