I was just going to post that when I saw you do it. This is just getting all too common anymore. Even on the local news here in Columbus when it was reported it was just like reporting a fire or traffic accident. 20 seconds with a dash of video showing a scene full of flashing-lights cop cars and on to the next story.

Sigh.

That having been said, it’s worth repeating that California’s gun laws did not stop this attack. But then again, even had the people who were shot been armed most them would have been hit anyways; There was simply no time to react.

There’s more analysis to be done of course, but I don’t have enough info to do it at this point.
