All the Nuclear Reactors in Navy Subs were leased from GE..Every sub we decomed we had to cut out the Reactor are return it to GE..I wonder where they all are these days..Not in Nevada that’s for sure

I was an airedale for more of my time in service, P3s and ASW. My last sea duty I became ship’s company on a conventional vessel. Would have been nice to go nuke since I might have gotta stationed closer to home of record (Seattle area), but I got cashiered (temp med retirement) by Clinton. Nice chunk of change, though, to get out. Too bad the ex got it all.
