You’re overreacting. The tax rates he’s proposing didn’t destroy the economy or our social fabric or anything else in the 90s when we had them. Nor did they imperil the American Dream in any of the previous decades when we had even higher marginal rates than the 90s.

Seriously.

I love how the right are hyperventilating now over taxes going back to the same rates as we had in the 90s. What a bunch of goddamn drama queens. You’d think that they were being asked to wear hairshirts and flog themselves in public or something.
