One of my high school friends has cycled back into ministry - after several failed business attempts the last year or two - and his facebook statuses are so fucking annoyingly sad (I can’t delete them!). He’s started a new church and every post is about being awesome for Jesus! and how they’re going to have guest ministries over who are dedicated to helping other see how awesome Jesus! is…talk about making a living doing nothing…jesus. Anyway, that’s what reading ‘THE WORD’ made me think of just now (not the bible, just the quoted string of all caps).

gotta have a Mega Church —that’s where the money is.
