So in Breitbart’s mind, military personell cannot compliment some political activist with an expression of personal support without implicitly suggesting militant support in the case of a civil war?

Indeed. You hear it at least once a week, some voice popping up that the military is just looking for an excuse to rise up, stage a coup against Obama for his “unconstitutional actions,” and (in every case) turn it over to the “right people.”

Then I look at all the military coups in past history and wonder where they get these ideas. If a military is going to engage in treason, why would they turn around and turn over power to the very people who could have them executed for said treason?
