AFAIK-Non AQ attackers is really the only explanation that says video outrage as the motive. I mean how could any AQ guy not be thrilled at the date for it’s bragging value?

The motive could be anything: The movie, still could be AQ, maybe just a target of opportunity with the ambassador in town or just the 9-11 date. The article does seem to indicate it was a local attack which may make sense with the US moving drones and special forces into the area, I wouldn’t rule anything out at this point.
