My biggest issue with all of the Bible is this:

If there was a god, and that god had an important message for its creation which is vital for its salvation, you’d think that god would be sufficiently knowledgeable about what it created to make an entirely unambiguous message, which could not possibly be misinterpreted. (Whew, what a sentence.)

Instead we have a myriad of interpretations, many of which conflict with each other, and all of which claim to be the only truth.

That doesn’t seem to me to be a very good way to impart a vital message, leaving it up to people to interpret. They can’t all be correct interpretations, but they can all be wrong.

All of the other interpretations are Satanic, to confuse you. However, for a mere 10% of your income, I will preach the one true interpretation to you each Sunday!
