From my curosory reading it looks to me like through the course of the investigation they sold some guns and instead of arresting the middle men they waited to see who they were delivering them to. If they lost track of them or whatever I don’t know. Just because Republicans are worked up about the possibility of Obama secretly funding Mexicans for an invasion of the US doesn’t mean I’m going to take it seriously. If other people want to follow up on the story that’s fine, I have no objections but it’s probably not going to pan out. Just like when they were investigating the fake Black Panther scandal. When it turns out to be bogus they’ll just move on to the next bogus story. They might get one right eventually.
