By the time you get the beads and full stitches involved, there is definitely swearing involved.

Also for fun and profit I do the beading with one thread, centering the needle on it - so I’m stitching with two threads, but there’s only one thread through the eye of the needle. Makes it easier to pull the needle through the beads but means it is HELL if I want to be able to re-use the thread, because I can’t pull the needle off.

You just clip the knot off and then very carefully…oh, never mind. You go pour yourself a stiff drink and see if you have enough thread to just throw the other one out, because who are we trying to kid here?
