I thought prisms were only to make both eyes work together. Not to make one eye work. Even if you only wear one. Like I did.

An eye doctor gave me a prism in one lens and it just made things worse (it felt like something was literally pulling my eye).

Turned out that the double vision in my right eye was due to some temporary fluid buildup at a point of old scar tissue on my retina (which I learned when I went to a different eye doctor).
