18 months for infiltrating the NRA and promoting Russian interests among the GOP and right wing circles.
That’s a veritable slap on the wrist compared to someone who accidentally voted in an election.
But it still shows that the Russians were actively involved in manipulating the election. The Russians used right wing views and predilections to further Russia’s interests because they took advantage of all the bias and know-nothing extremism exhibited by the GOP and a willingness to look the other way while benefiting from Russian acts.
