The one thing I wished I had realized as a teen was how much Libertarianism plays directly into supporting Institutionalized Racism- not by chance, but by design.

Libertarianism** is a good foundation to go right into “Fuck you, I have mine. And keep your hands off it!” mode. It feeds directly into all sorts of personal space things like privacy, a sense of having earned things, distrust of government/taxes, and even a general paranoia about the “other” coming to get your cookie.

And it’s probably a better fit for the human psyche* than what is needed for things like communism or anarchy systems to have a chance to actually succeed.

* - Especially in people who have probably never faced serious want or a need for group cooperation in order to survive.

** - It’s also essentially a parasite system since a society will never develop from the ground up following its precepts. At best you’ll probably get a region beset with small warring factions. (Somalia or rural Afghanistan might be a reasonable example.)
