This could have the potential of a reverse Watergate, with the Democrats wandering the political desert for 30 years.

The GOP intent is to corrupt the political process so completely that Democrats are powerless. It’s not merely slouching towards fascism and an authoritarian state, but running headlong into fascism with a goon in the WH who makes no effort to hide his intentions because he lies about so much in plain sight.
