Wealthy People are not STUPID where their wealth is concerned, they prefer guarantees, not “Promises, Promises.”
Seems that even Barbara Streisand has gotten the message recently, a 1.8%, per annum, wealth tax proposal has even gotten HER attention!

That will help for about half of his salary. The way that pro athletes are contracted, they pay local taxes for any city/state that they play in, even as a member of a visiting team. The same is true for touring musicians/entertainers.
(Worked with professional tax preparers for most of the last decade, so got exposed to more than a few performers returns in course of my job)
