What’s weird isn’t just Fisher’s clinically insane, schizo-affective douche baggery, but that anybody would put him at the head of a national political org like the FRC, or that anybody looks at that stream of transparent bullshit and thinks giving them money is a good idea.

It’s not just the naked hate, it’s that there isn’t one coherent, intelligently articulated position there. It’s all blatant, obvious, lies, and the people employing him and sending in money know it’s all lies. They know that they’re lying to themselves as they repeat the lies to others. The cynical repetition of the lie becomes a shibboleth, it’s only effective purpose the same as a gang tattoo, to identify the group from outsiders.
