I have a Motarola Droid phone and they glued the battery in, and most places, like Ifixit wont touch it because you’d have to special order the battery, use a heat gun to melt the glue, etc.

The phone works otherwise, except the battery is essentially toast. The suggestion by more than a few people is to carry a battery brick or get a battery case to extend the life.
